Regulatory and Compliance Manager

The Regulatory and Compliance Manager will manage risks and avoid lawsuits by ensuring business operations are performed in compliance with state and federal laws. Position will develop policies, create metrics to track compliance and perform compliance audits. Continuous learning is required for state and federal laws related to industry regulations. Position will oversee safety and compliance, manage insurance policies, and manage telecommunication regulations.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (complex formula, pivots, modeling)

Innovative thinking to work effectively cross-functionally in a matrixed environment

Strong technology skills and working knowledge/understanding of business finance platforms

Manage telecommunication regulations and filings

Manage various insurance policies, including renewals, claims, etc.

Manage safety initiatives for the company and ensure compliance with insurance requirements and OSHA standards.

Lead the Safety committee. Ensure monthly safety meetings are held. Ensure follow through on all open safety items

Ensure safety climbing certifications are active and valid

Manage Osha 10 and 30 training

Manage Annual OSHA filings and postings

Oversee and audit Samsara safety driving violations and work with leadership to coach and correct infractions



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality
  • Strong spreadsheet skills are essential with an ability to develop complex financial databases in a dynamic and time sensitive environment linking data between PC’s and servers
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management or Law
  • Providing analysis of issues (root cause, trigger events, themes), and reporting as necessary
