Account Manager – Multi-client

This Account Manager will be responsible for multiple client relationships and the business operations of assigned clients. This position provides management and support including – hiring, training and guidance for assigned client and with starting new clients when needed, inspections of the team’s performance and compliance with client requirements, trouble-shooting customer request/complaints, coordinating the team’s efforts, and developing long-term relationships with clients, CDMC team and vendor/contractors. As well as ensuring high client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including client retention, satisfaction, expansion and profit margins.

• Formulate and manage an effective service strategy and schedule tailored to each client.

• Manage team to ensure compliance with pricing and logistics, as well as making recommendations for staffing, processes, sales enhancements, etc.

• Manage team for all Vendor/Contractor relationships including – Recruiting, negotiation, pricing and

other contract terms, ensure agreements are sent to Vendor Compliance Department for verification, develop service specifications, client compliance, verify Contractor compliance, and remove/replace Contractors as necessary.

• Ensure a standard of excellence in quality and client satisfaction, through detailed quality control inspections of client Work Orders and consistent follow through with all promises to clients.

• Supervise and direct team; ensure the client’s strategy is executed and all services are performed correctly while ensuring CDMC profit margins are protected.

• Ensure adequate (internal and external) staffing needs to service clients.

• Effectively communicate all client issues with internal teams and Sr. Managers/owners; promptly address any client issues or problems that arise.

• Use CDMC CRM to perform checks and document to ensure health of the client is strong and prepare reports for Sr. Managers/owners, as well as ensuring team is meeting client’s and CDMC’s KPI’s

• Notify Sales Executives of potential issues and/or opportunities with accounts in your book of business.

• Discuss quality control with your clients and encourage them to provide feedback for excellent service and opportunities for improvement.

• Communicate client feedback responses to the Sales, Sr. Management/owners as well as your team.

• Develop and implement a plan to address any client complaints or deficiencies in service and actively monitor compliance of team to achieve plan for improvement.

• Monitor payroll – Overtime and PTO of team to ensure we are meeting payroll objectives and team coverage is sufficient to meet client demand.

• Assist team to ensure work orders are moving to billing department in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years documented management experience in facility management industry, managing a client/portfolio of business of $5M+

• Proven track record of success leading a team of 5 or more team members

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider equivalent w/relative experience in lieu of degree.

• Highly detail oriented and excellent follow-through on commitments.

• Positive and out-going personality; great at building relationships and fostering teams.

• Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM database.

• Above average attendance and reliability is required.
