  • Review project plans to understand the scope of work and identify concrete requirements.
  • Perform quantity take-offs, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete volumes.
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to accurately calculate material quantities, labor costs, equipment expenses, and overhead costs.
  • Prepare and submit detailed proposals to clients and stakeholders, working with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
  • Collaborate closely with project management to develop accurate and achievable project budgets and ensure successful execution.

As our ideal candidate you bring:

  • 3 years of estimation experience, with at least 1 year of concrete materials and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proven ability to assess costs for commercial concrete projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Experience utilizing estimating and takeoff software.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, collaborating with project managers, suppliers, and clients.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and communication skills; enjoyable to work with.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office – Excel, Word.
