The right candidate will have 3+ years of experience in dental revenue cycle management of at least $20 million in revenue, have managed multiple direct reports (bonus points if you have managed others remotely), and be located in a commutable range to downtown Denver, CO.


Overview:

This role will provide strategic planning, leadership skills and ongoing quality and process improvement for revenue associated with operating activities. You will report directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager Director and oversee a remote Revenue Cycle team of 10. This leadership position requires a thorough understanding of revenue operations, insurance verification, billing best practices, compliance regulations, credentialing, and team support. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue collection while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and enhancing overall department performance. This role will require you to provide regular reports and analysis to executive leadership to drive business strategies and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Revenue Cycle Management team performance & quality, and supporting them to consistently reach KPIs; analyzing reports and KPIs to take action to improve or maintain results
  • Identify areas of improvement in current processes, recommend & implement solutions, to streamline the workflow and enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Working with team members to ensure accurate and timely billing, and reach 90% of accrual collections at 4 weeks after production, and insurance DSO average of 20 days or less
  • Support offices’ patient AR collection process, to achieve an average of 30 DSO
  • Working with insurance payment posting team to achieve a 98%+ posting rate daily
  • Managing third-party vendors to maximize their results and guarantee expected outcome
  • Ensure SOP guide is maintained and up to date
  • Providing excellent customer service to all team members, including offices, and achieve a minimum of 4/5 score or higher from weekly satisfaction surveys
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Strengthen communication flow between RCM and Operations
  • Travel to multiple office in the Colorado area expected (estimated travel once a quarter to Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo locations)

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of dental revenue cycle management experience
  • 5+ years of dental office management experience
  • Managed at least $20 million in revenue (this will manage $50 million)
  • Oversight of direct reports through multiple locations
  • Extensive knowledge of dental insurance verification, claim submission, collections, patient A/R management, credentialing, payor relations, and team leadership
  • Proficiency in dental coding and terminology
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, leadership, and process improvement
