Business Development Representative

Company Overview:
I've partnered with a B2B SaaS company that offers a platform that allows hardware companies to build subscription products. They recently raised their Series A ~ $30M They are looking for a top-performing SDR to join their growing sales team. The role is hybrid based out of Hoboken, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Generating sales-qualified meetings within a predefined book of business
- Creating own target list based on ICP accounts / industries / personas
- Continuously engaging with target prospects via email, LinkedIn, cold-calling and other channels
- Continuously following up with prospects until getting a clear enough understanding if a qualified opportunity exists, or why it doesn’t
- Nurturing leads/accounts continuously when there is a potential opportunity in the longer term
- Keep careful records of interactions with leads in our CRM
- Working closely with the Director of Sales Development and other stakeholders to define experiments and execute them
Requirements:
- At least one year of lead-gen experience with a preferred background in one or more of the following:
- Selling SaaS/software to senior positions within Product departments (Director, VP, CxO positions)
- Selling SaaS / Software to hardware manufacturers
- Track record of being a top-producing SDR/BDR. Consistently hitting or exceeding quota
- Working in an early-stage, fast-paced, startup environment with relatively early product market fit.
- Outbound experience via email, LinkedIn, cold-calling, and other channels (events, etc.)
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM/sales tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cold calling tools (i.e. Outreach), ZoomInfo, or alternatives
- Able to work in a hybrid model of 2-3x/week from the office at Hoboken, NJ
