Position Title: Manufacturing Software Engineer

Location: Remote in GA, AL, or SC - This role will require occasional travel to client facilities in North Georgia and Aiken, SC.

Duration: 6-Month Contract to Hire

Compensation: $60-65/Hour

Training Requirement: There will be a training period for the first 90 days where you will travel to different facilities in North Georgia and Aiken, SC. Once the training period has ended, the role will transition to remote, with occasional travel as needed.


Job Overview:

Our client, an innovative company experiencing rapid growth, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a key contributor, you’ll be responsible for creating cutting-edge .NET framework applications across various platforms, including desktop, mobile, and embedded systems. Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and implement software applications using both C# and C++.
  • Platform Diversity: Create solutions for desktop, mobile, and embedded systems, ensuring seamless functionality across different environments.
  • Native Modules: Leverage your expertise in writing native modules for high-level languages such as Node.js, Python, and Go.
  • Travel Period (First 90 Days): During the initial training period, travel to client facilities in North Georgia and Aiken, SC to gain insights into existing systems and meet the team.
  • Remote Work: After the training period, transition to a remote work setup with occasional travel.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BSCS), Computer Engineering (BSCE), Electrical Engineering (MSEE), or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years working with C#.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows .NET.
  • Experience with WPF is preferred.
  • Proven track record of creating end-to-end applications (Desktop, Mobile, or Embedded Systems - not looking for web application development).
  • Familiarity with writing native modules for high-level languages.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed to client facilities within North Georgia and Aiken, SC.

Additional Qualifications (Plusses):

  • Experience with C++.
  • SCADA Development Experience: Familiarity with SCADA systems is a plus.
