We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities:
1. Capital Project Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of potential capital projects aimed at improving the efficiency, safety, and productivity of our flooring manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
Supporting strategic projects through headcount analysis, process flow, cost etc.
2. Budget Planning and Control: Collaborate with finance and project management teams to establish Capital budgets. Monitor project progress and expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and proposing corrective actions when necessary. Implement systems for tracking capital expenditures.
3. Process Optimization: Identify areas of improvement within our manufacturing and production systems, focusing on reducing waste, minimizing downtime, and streamlining workflows. Develop and implement process optimization strategies to achieve continuous improvement.
4. Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize statistical tools and software to analyze operational data and generate predictive models. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, forecast future performance, and support decision-making related to capital projects.
5. Cost-Benefit Analysis: Evaluate the financial feasibility of proposed capital projects, taking into consideration initial investment, operational costs, expected returns, and potential risks. Prepare detailed cost-benefit reports to assist management in making informed decisions.
6. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for proposed capital projects to identify potential obstacles and provide risk mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all capital projects, including project plans, progress reports, and post-implementation evaluations. Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and executive management.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably with a focus on capital project analysis within the manufacturing or construction industry.
