Focus:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to dig into the youth sports market, with a focus on expanding their network beyond soccer into other sports.
- Utilize existing relationships in youth sports, including those within competitors' organizations, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of projects and deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Conduct outbound outreach, including attending youth soccer events and other relevant industry gatherings, to generate leads and expand their network.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the youth sports community, including event organizers and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts, to deliver product demonstrations and address client inquiries.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments, providing insights and recommendations to guide their strategic direction.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on the sports industry preferred.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
