What are we looking for?


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Property Management, responsible for overseeing the operations of 5 multifamily properties located in DFW. As a Director of Property Management, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the multifamily properties, lease administration, budgeting, and code compliance. The Director of Property Management will also manage interactions with code enforcement agencies. An ideal candidate for this role will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, an expert level of understanding of property management and a hunger for success.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily operations of multifamily properties
  • Manage lease administration, budgeting, and multifamily real estate
  • Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations
  • Manage interactions with code enforcement agencies
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the tenant leasing experience
  • Implement SOP's and property management software, such as Resman, Yardi, etc.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants and investors
  • Supervise property management staff, providing guidance and support
  • Develop and implement property management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with company objectives.
  • Manage budgets, financial reports, and operational plans to enhance efficiency and service quality.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role/ director role.
  • Strong knowledge of property management software and systems.
  • Excellent understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and operational planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal property regulations and code compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of lease-up strategies, eviction processes and reducing delinquency
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
