JOB DESCRIPTION


The Inside Sales Engineer blends expertise in the inbound sales process with technical knowledge and sales acument to support sales growth of our outside sales executive team. This role is essentially our inside "air traffic controller." While juggling account management duties and building presentations and quotes, this role will also be passionate about building automated sales processes using generative AI and traditional software tools.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Create detailed and accurate quotes and presentations.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients through great phone and email skills.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients on time.
  • Communicate daily with customers, internal team members, and vendors to make and follow up requests.
  • Occasionally travel for conferences and tradeshows to deepen relationships with customers.
  • Embrace the mission-critical nature of the business and in your internal team members as well as your customer relationships.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • EXPERIENCE - Experience in sales and technology, with a deep understanding of systems, processes, and sales KPIs.
  • COMMUNICATION - Solid typing, phone conversational, and email-writing skills.
  • SOFTWARE - Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Suite software.
  • GENERATIVE AI - Experience using Generative AI tools in the workplace.
  • FLEXIBILITY - Success working in a small company where multiple hats are worn at the same time, task priorities change daily, and spinning plates is second nature.
  • SPEED - this role is a pace setter and this comes naturally without compromising on details or accuracy.


Though the days go fast at sometimes a frenetic pace in this "air traffic controller" role, passion for the law enforcement industry, as well as fire, EMS and EMA drives this professional's will to succeed, with that winning drive always staying true to a strong moral compass.

COMPENSATION


Base Salary - commensurate with experience.

Monthly Incentive - based on inbound leads and sales.

Quarterly Bonus - team-based on revenue and efficiency.

Total Compensation Package - up to $110,000
