Commercial Service Manager

Our company provides heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration services for businesses. The Commercial Service Manager will run the daily field operations of the service department. This includes the immediate supervision of a team, quality assurance, assisting with reactive service, and interfacing with customers as needed.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Field training of service technicians.

· Participating in the performance review process.

· Drive performance and quality by empowering and educating staff.


Duties/Responsibilities:

· Respond to service calls with technicians.

· Visits job sites to observe/participate with all field staff.

· Responds to technical support phone calls from field technicians.

· Enforces safety policies when working with staff, and on-site with customers.

· Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong background in commercial heating & air conditioning

· Strong background in commercial refrigeration systems

· Strong background in field service operations,

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

· Ten years of HVAC and/or refrigeration experience

· GED or High School diploma

· EPA 608 universal certification


Physical Requirements:

· Driving a commercial (full-size) service van

· Setting up and climbing an extension ladder

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.


Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
