Job Description

One of our clients is in search of a Software Engineer who is skilled in designing and deploying integrated software systems. This role entails collaborating closely with the client's business analysts, tech teams, end-users, and testers to develop effective applications that enhance current operations and facilitate the transition from a legacy system. This long-term project requires someone with experience in large-scale migration projects, meticulous attention to detail, a strong commitment, and a positive attitude.

This role is primarily remote, but occasionally, you may need to attend important project meetings in person. Our client is based in the Miami area.

 

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, high quality, scalable, and efficient code using .NET, C#, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions in alignment with client needs and project goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to determine system requirements and specifications.
  • Document technical specs and design artifacts.
  • Test and deploy applications and systems, revising and updating as necessary.
  • Provide technical support for web-based applications and lead software development lifecycle processes.
  • Support test and deployment of new products and features
  • Participate in code reviews


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in software development, with strong proficiency in SQL Server, .NET framework, C#, and Angular.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming database design, and software engineering foundations.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, JSON, XML, and Web Services.
  • Experience with software development methodologies.
  • Ability to organize, and prioritize work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in an agile framework.
