Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Controls Engineer at EMAG Group in Farmington Hills, MI. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as design of electrical schematics, implement customer specifications, troubleshooting and documentation. The role involves working closely with the engineering team to develop and implement control systems for machining equipment.


Qualifications

  • Process Control and Troubleshooting skills
  • Electrical Engineering and Motion Control expertise
  • Experience with Robotics in manufacturing settings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Previous experience in the metalworking industry is a plus
