Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration and modernization of middleware components from IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
  • Design and develop integration solutions that align with industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • Assess existing flows and update or refactor IIB code to be compatible with ACE.
  • Develop integration flows using ACE toolkit, which includes message routing, transformation, and mediation logic.
  • Develop, test, and deploy integration flows, message mappings, and APIs using ACE.
  • Collaborate with architects and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure the integration solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware integrations, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in middleware development, with a strong focus on IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
  • Proven experience in migrating middleware solutions from IIB to ACE.
  • Experience in the BFSI domain is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in developing integration solutions using ESQL, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and message queues (MQ).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and/or IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
  • Knowledge of modern cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
