Position Overview:
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to drive significant financial and strategic outcomes within the Logistics Services sector of our client’s operations. As a Vice President of Finance, Business Performance Management, you will work closely with high-level executives to enhance business performance and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. This position is essential for someone who seeks to influence global financial strategies and enjoys working in a dynamic international setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to business segment leaders, providing financial insights and support that drive business decisions.
- Lead financial reporting for the Logistics Services segment, ensuring clarity and alignment between management and statutory requirements.
- Oversee and coordinate the financial forecasting process with department heads and the global finance team.
- Actively participate in M&A activities, providing financial analysis and strategic insight to support the finance M&A team.
- Support the EVP/COO of Logistics in establishing business objectives and developing strategies to achieve these goals.
- Manage investment reviews and facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure strategic alignment and performance optimization.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives within the Logistics Services segment and lead a culturally diverse and high-performing international team.
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in an international business environment, ideally within logistics or related sectors.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in financial modeling and understanding of business governance.
- Proficient in Power BI for reporting and analysis.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop teams across different geographies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effective presentation and negotiation in a complex stakeholder environment.
- A proactive, structured, and solutions-oriented approach with a strong commitment to results.
