This associate fills a critical role in the flow of goods and information required to meet customer requirements by providing exceptional service and technical support to our customers and outside sales force. Main duties include customer service, technical support, warehouse duties, will-call assistance, and general administrative/office duties. Must be able to: work independently in a small office environment, provide cross-functional support as needed, use the proprietary business system to perform daily customer service and sales support requirements, complete tasks and projects as assigned daily, and stay current on all policies pertaining to daily job functions. Some heavy lifting and driving may be required.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Provide technical assistance to customers to help them identify the product solutions that best meet their needs.

 Process the transactions necessary to support quote and order fulfillment needs and to ensure that customer expectations are being met.

 Provide accurate information regarding products, prices, availability, delivery, invoicing, and returns.

 Provide warehouse support including shipping, receiving, and inventory control of fluid system components.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Provide service and support to our customer service reps and outside sales force.

 Provide excellent customer service to walk-ins, will-call customers, and others as needed.

 Perform general administrative and cross-functional support where needed, and complete all other duties as assigned to support the business.

 Comply with all company policies and procedures.

 Understand and support company goals and strategic initiatives.


EDUCATION:

 2-year or 4-year technical degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

 5+ years of experience in warehouse/inventory control, customer service, inside sales, or technical support role. Industry experience in fluid system technologies, instrumentation, or process industries preferred.

SKILLS:

 Strong attention to detail

 Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task

 Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications

 Comfortable with cross-functional training and able to step into additional roles when needed

 Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

 Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment

 Valid Texas driver’s license and excellent driving record

 Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing/walking for long periods of time and some heavy lifting

TRAINING:

 Our products are technical in nature and technical training will be provided.


SCOPE OF POSITION:

 Business casual attire, reliable transportation required

 Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift boxes, rental equipment, hose, and tubing on a regular basis between 25 - 35 pounds and occasionally between 35 - 50 pounds.
