Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the merchant processing department.
  • Monitor transaction processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement and improve operational policies and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure the company's compliance.
  • Collaborate with compliance officers to develop and implement necessary procedures.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with merchant partners and vendors.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to onboard new merchants.
  • Analyze processing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to enhance processing efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Stay updated on the latest payment processing technologies and trends.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
  • Work closely with customer support teams to address merchant inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in merchant processing services.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in merchant processing or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement improvements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with industry software and payment processing platforms.

Expert level experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
