This international industry leader has an immediate long-term contract opportunity for a ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Analyst with strong automation experience. Can work remotely from anywhere in the United States. Will be part of the product development team, and will play an important role in implementing, managing, and optimizing the organization’s hardware assets with a high emphasis on automation. You will establish accurate asset to CI relationships with ServiceNow's Hardware Asset Management and CMDB. You'll provide value by fully automating the asset's managed refresh process from request to disposal - utilizing suppliers and internal system integrations with ServiceNow.
Contract Duration: 18+ Months (with strong chance for long-term extension)
Required Skills & Experience
• Expertise in ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management.
• Strong experience in taking as-is manual processes and transforming then through automated efforts and efficiency gains.
• Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM Asset Management.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow flow designer.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and Enterprise Service Management.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities in working with vendors, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is a must.
Preferred:
• Previous experience integrating HP Asset Push or other hardware vendors or suppliers with ServiceNow.
• Previous experience with automating managed refresh processes on a global scale.
• Previous experience working with scrum/kanban/scrumban agile methodologies.
What You Will Be Doing
• Establishing quality asset to CI relationships that can be depended on.
• Establishing asset lifecycle EOL standards in collaboration with responsible areas.
• Gaining understanding and transforming internal current "as is" manual processes in the asset lifecycle to a fully automated process utilizing ServiceNow's capabilities.
• Integrating ServiceNow vendor and suppliers to fully automate and complete the end-to-end asset lifecycle.
• Creating visibility and insights through ServiceNow dashboards and reports to proactively identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities as they relate to either the hardware asset, the supplier, the vendor, or the lifecycle process itself.
• Providing reporting insights to identify and create opportunities for optimizing spend and reducing the TCO of the asset.
• Documenting and sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues as well as the service team who will be handling support and maintenance of each iteration release of the product.
