Brennan Burtker is approaching its 10 year anniversary, and seeks to build its administrative infrastructure to support its growth. The firm seeks an Administrator to oversee and assist its administrative departments: office management, human resources, billing/invoicing, payroll and bookkeeping. The position is a hands-on, supervisory position that requires a minimum of 3-5 year experience in law firm administration with experience in law firm management, human resources, billing/invoicing, payroll and bookkeeping. The position serves as a liaison between the administrative departments and the firm's Executive Committee, and seeks an individual to create systems for the firm that unify the various administrative functions of a law firm for smooth, uninterrupted and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on, supervisory role. The firm has in place individual administrative managers and specialists in office management, human resources, billing/invoicing and payroll/bookkeeping. The Administrator must learn to perform the duties in each department and assist the administrative managers in their tasks while providing overall supervisory responsibility to the firm's Executive Committee. This is not supervisory position alone. The position requires the individual to work hands-on as a lateral with administrative personnel to assist them in daily operations. The individual will be a liaison between administration and firm management who will serve and lead the various administrative departments the firm has created. The individual is expected to implement a systems approach to administration, and create systems for the firm that strengthen its operations.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The individual must understand the dual role of serving and leading administration, and work collaboratively with the firm's employees as a lateral while at the same time leading and unifying all administrative departments for the Executive Committee. This job requires exceptional organizational skills. The individual must appreciate the importance of a highly organized, clean office space where every document has a proper place in a file.
