Position: Linux System Engineer (Windows Server experience a huge plus, but lean is on Linux experience)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Work Model: Hybrid Model (3 Onsite / 2 Remote)

Duration: 6 month contract to permanent full time hire (CTH)

Hourly Rate during the first 6 months: 40/hr to 50/hr (flexible DOE)

Salary Conversion at the 6 month mark: 85k to 95k (flexible DOE) + Excellent Benefits Program


Job Overview:

  • Provide engineering and administration support to Red Hat Linux Servers.
  • Red Hat Linux with Satellite experience needed.
  • Currently on Ubuntu, but will be moving away from it soon.
  • Will perform monitoring efforts, current environment utilizes SolarWinds, but open to other kinds of monitoring tools.
  • Will provide support to a mid level sized infrastructure consisting of over 325 total servers.
  • Will perform security patching.
  • Ideal candidate with have experience with both Linux and Windows servers, emphasis on Linux.
