Job Summary

Saxon Global is seeking a highly skilled Linux Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise
    • Deep understanding of Red Hat Linux concepts, including permissions, SELinux security, system performance and tuning, software installation and updates, storage management, service control and boot process, networking, log file analysis, and container management.
  • Critical Incident Management
    • Strong skills in addressing production-critical incidents, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-Motivation and Teamwork
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.
  • ITIL Fundamentals
    • Familiarity with ITIL fundamentals and best practices.
