Additional Information:
  • This position requires constant attention to a computer screen, with no physical movement around the office.
  • Interaction with hardware vendors will primarily occur through digital communication channels.
  • While scripting and automation skills are not essential, they are considered a beneficial asset.
Role Overview:
Under general supervision, this role involves the technical management of server systems and serves as a point of contact for internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include monitoring enterprise-wide alerts and managing tasks within incident, problem, and change management queues.

Key duties include:
  • Monitoring alerts, triaging incidents, and documenting issues.
  • Participating in service recovery efforts and addressing incoming calls and tickets from business partners.
  • Providing support for routine production issues escalated to the command center or technical teams.
  • Assessing problems and escalating them to senior technicians, engineers, or vendors as necessary.
  • Tracking issue statuses and updating stakeholders accordingly.
  • Maintaining internal ticketing systems as required.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with peers and higher-level positions to ensure task completion. Prioritize work assignments based on departmental needs and system criticality, following guidance from senior administrators. Execute server change requests assigned to data center resources. Enhance technical expertise through training and networking opportunities. Perform additional duties as assigned.
