Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic sales representative to join our growing team. You will be responsible for generating new leads, contacting potential customers, and closing sales for our engineering products and services. You will also maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.


To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the engineering or technical field. You should also have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as a customer-oriented mindset and a passion for engineering. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to travel occasionally to meet clients and attend trade shows.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling, emailing, networking, and referrals
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand the needs and challenges of potential customers
  • Prepare and deliver customized sales proposals and presentations that showcase the value and benefits of our engineering solutions
  • Negotiate contract terms and prices with customers and close sales
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback and insights on customer requirements and market trends
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
  • Report on sales activities and results using CRM software and other tools
  • Stay updated on the latest engineering products, services, and industry developments


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the engineering or technical field
  • Proven ability to self-generate business development opportunities through a diverse combination of calling, emailing, and networking.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other sales tools
  • Experience managing client relationships with current customers and pipeline continuous business.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hitting sales contests or achieving president club awards in previous sales roles
  • Experience selling in related industries including: (Engineering, Construction …etc)
