Key Responsibilities Maintenance Supervisor:
- Leadership: Provide leadership and management for all maintenance personnel. Assign work schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure optimal performance.
- Safety: Maintain a safe work environment for all employees, customers, and visitors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintenance Coordination: Develop and monitor maintenance policies and procedures, assess repair needs, and schedule necessary maintenance activities.
- Operational Performance: Compile and report operational and personnel records, collaborate with other supervisors and managers, and implement policies and procedures to achieve goals.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor and adjust contracts, leases, and department spending to stay within budget. Respond strategically to external influences such as DOT and OSHA regulations.
- Administrative Management: Ensure compliance with HR policies, monitor staff levels, review performance of direct reports, and collaborate with HR on job descriptions.
- Special Projects: Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Maintanance Supervisor:
- Experience: Related industrial environment, with supervisory or management experience.
- Skills: Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair, strong organizational and management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle EAM, excellent communication skills.
- Education: College courses in business or management are helpful.
- Other: Valid driver’s license. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to irregular schedules, including overtime and weekends.
