As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead and oversee the delivery of complex projects involving offshore teams, software development, and the implementation of Cloud-based solutions for our clients. Your role will be critical in driving project success through effective strategy, cross-functional collaboration, communication, planning, coordination, execution, and performance management while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. 


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, operational constraints, technical requirements, and challenges, and provide strategic guidance and recommendations to address their needs effectively. 
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of consulting engagements and projects involving distributed offshore development teams, software development, and Cloud/SaaS solutions. 
  • Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop comprehensive program roadmaps, project plans, and resource allocation strategies in alignment with Agile principles and methodologies. 
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with distributed teams, including offshore development teams, ensuring clear understanding of project goals, roles, and responsibilities, and fostering a culture of collaboration, performance and accountability. 
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success. 
  • Provide guidance and support to Agile teams to ensure adherence to Agile best practices and continuous improvement. 
  • Monitor and report program and project status, key metrics, and performance indicators to clients and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. 
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between consulting teams, development teams, product owners, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and deliver high-quality solutions. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Agile methodologies, distributed development, cloud computing, and SaaS solutions, and incorporate them into project plans and strategies. 
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, performance, and excellence. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience working as a Technical Program Manager, with a focus on consulting, Agile methodologies, distributed offshore development, software development, Cloud, and SaaS solutions. 
  • Experience working in a consulting environment and managing client relationships. 
  • Experience managing distributed development teams, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances, communication challenges, and effective collaboration strategies. 
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and best practices, with hands-on experience leading Agile teams and projects. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize competing demands effectively. 
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). 
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms and applications, including but not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, etc.
