Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Pro Engineer, AutoCAD) to design, model, and analyze mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Develop and maintain mechanical design documentation, including component drawing packages with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to support existing products and contribute to the development of new products.
  • Participate in the design and development of high-speed electrical cable/connector designs, such as QSFP, OSFP, Slimline, or PCIe, used in internal and external cable assemblies.
  • Apply signal integrity concepts to ensure the performance and reliability of mechanical designs.
  • Utilize the ENOVIA Product Lifecycle Management tool for managing product data and processes.
  • Work independently and as part of a global team, with occasional availability for early morning or late evening conference calls.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Pro Engineer, AutoCAD).


Additional Details:

  • Onsite: Austin, TX
  • Position type: 12 months
  • Pay rate: $30-$32/hr. depending on experience
