Overview:

At Page Southerland Page, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems for a wide range of projects, including mission-critical facilities, science and technology centers, and healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop HVAC systems for various project types, including mission-critical facilities, science and technology centers, and healthcare facilities.
  • Develop and manage project delivery schedules, including generating and tracking project timelines.
  • Coordinate with MEP department heads for resource allocation and tracking budgets throughout design.
  • Conduct additional engineering studies for highly technical clients, including payback analyses and knowledge of industry trends.
  • Develop and manage engineering studies, Basis of Design documents, and narratives for non-technical audiences.
  • Oversee load calculations, develop system applications, and coordinate with all trades, including architectural, structural, and civil.
  • Sign and seal contract documents, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an accredited, four-year university.
  • Ten years of engineering experience in the commercial building design and construction industry with a current Professional Engineers license in the U.S.
  • Five years of experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients.
  • Professional Engineering license, technical writing experience, and proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Experience with REVIT 2016 or newer, Trane Trace, or IES VE Energy Modeling software.
  • Willingness to travel overnight for projects up to 10% of the time.
