We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our team in designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers to design and develop mechanical systems for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other consultant firms to meet project requirements and address needs.
  • Oversee the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, medical gas, and fire suppression systems.
  • Apply engineering judgment and critical thinking to arrive at the most efficient and economical mechanical system design.
  • Participate in design charrettes and coordinate with other disciplines and offices, as well as other consultants and required subconsultants.
  • Employ CAD software, including Revit, Trane Trace, and other software modeling tools.

Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems and piping design.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and various building systems.
  • Proficient in Revit and knowledgeable in AutoCAD and/or Trane Trace or HAP 700.
  • Ready and willing to lead and grow.
