Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales and Marketing Assistant. This role is crucial in supporting our sales and marketing efforts by handling administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the overall success of our business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for sales and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
  • Assist in managing calendars and coordinating meetings for the sales and marketing team.
  • Prepare and distribute documents, presentations, and reports as needed.
  • Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and other records.
  • Handle emails, and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  1. Sales Support:
  • Aid in the preparation of sales materials, purchase orders, and shipments.
  • Assist with the organization and implementation of e-commerce sales events & promotions.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries to support the sales team in achieving targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
  1. Marketing Support:
  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and digital advertising.
  • Help maintain the company's online presence by updating website content and social media profiles.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive activity, and new opportunities.
  • Coordinate implementation of marketing materials, such as requesting copy & imagery.
  1. Data Management:
  • Manage customer and prospect databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist in generating sales and marketing reports to track performance metrics and analyze results.
  • Utilize CRM software to input and update customer information, sales activities, and communication logs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in sales or marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing and social media tools is a plus.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.

Schedule: This is a part-time position with flexible hours, approximately 10-20 hours per week. The schedule can be negotiated based on mutual agreement and business needs.
