JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in cloud computing, change management, and risk management, particularly within the financial services industry.

  • You will be responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage complex, multimillion-dollar IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Oversee the migration of applications to both internal and external cloud platforms, optimizing compute capacity and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Drive organizational change initiatives, including the adoption of Agile methodologies, to improve team performance, delivery speed, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage risk and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and security policies, particularly in areas such as Fraud Detection, AML, and Trade Surveillance.
  • Foster effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones, while ensuring all SDLC requirements are met and documented.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Extensive experience in cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and internal cloud workloads, with a strong focus on security and compliance.
  • Proven expertise in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, including experience with tools like Jira and Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, manage, and mentor high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business strategies.
  • Deep understanding of financial services, particularly in areas like Fraud Detection, AML, Trade Surveillance, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Financial domain knowledge strongly preferred with Risk background as mentioned this works great.
