LHH has partnered with a local construction group in the search for an Electrical Forman. The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of experience as an electrical foreman - specifically in commercial or heavy industrial construction. The ideal candidate will also bring tilt wall experience, is able to read blueprints as well as electrical systems and circuits, and is also willing to work onsite at the job sites.


Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, electrical systems, circuits, and plans
  • Ensure that redlines stay up to date
  • Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation manuals as well as schedule necessary materials and equipment to complete assigned projects.
  • Manage and lead a crew of 10+
  • Ensure that all aspects of the project remain in compliance with National and Local Electric codes
  • Manage and lead the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of all electrical distribution systems and electrical equipment used within the project
  • Collaborate with city and county officials, project engineers, architects, inspectors, contractors, and clients
  • Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation


Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience as an electrical foreman in commercial or heavy industrial construction
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to pass an electrical aptitude test, background check, and drug screening
  • OSHA 10/30
