Position Overview:


As the IT Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with the company’s goals. This is a hands-on role with the ability to make a significant impact on the business. You will lead the technology team, drive innovation, and ensure that our technology infrastructure supports our business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:


·       Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.

 

·       Leadership: Lead and mentor the technology team of 3 FTEs + IT vendor/s, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 

·       Infrastructure Management: Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

 

·       Product Development: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to guide the development of new products and features.

 

·       Product & Service Support: Assist internal team members and clients with technical issues, and support integrations and audits. Develop and enforce policies and procedures. 

  

·       Research & Development: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the company’s operations and market position.

 

·       Budgeting: Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.

 

·       Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and other departments, including marketing, sales, and operations, to integrate technology solutions that enhance business processes.

 

·       Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

 

·       Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and implement best practices for data security and privacy.

 

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

·       10+ years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position (e.g., CTO, CIO, VP/Director of Technology).

·       Strong understanding of software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI Machine Learning, and data management.

·       Minimum of 1-2 projects completed where AI solutions were implemented to drive up efficiencies, reduce costs, etc. (Preferred)

·       Very good understanding of Microsoft Tech Stack (NET, SQL Server, and the Azure hosting environment). Some technical background is preferred.

·       Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technology initiatives.

·       Ability to think strategically and understand the business impact of technology decisions.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
