The successful individual will play a pivotal role in the company's growth, overseeing a multi-disciplinary engineering division through end-to-end design and development of their current and future generation of advanced communications products.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a team of ~15 engineers - Hardware, Embedded Software, Systems.
- Technical leadership of Hardware Design, supporting engineers through the product development process.
- Implement engineering best practices to ensure products meet the highest standards for customers and industry requirements.
- Provide leadership to the engineering team, including performance management, appraisals, and promotions.
- Assist in the growth of engineering division.
Position Details:
- Type: Full-time, on-site
- Salary Range: $200k-$250k base salary (commensurate with experience)
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering Management.
- Proven track records leading product development projects, especially hardware design.
- Technical background in Electrical Engineering - Board designs, PCB Layouts, Schematic capture (ideally incorporating high speed signals).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred:
- Medical device experience and understanding of compliance standards such as IEC 60601.
