experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the next stage of growth for our client. Reporting directly to the CEO and Senior Leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role, serving as the leader responsible for shaping the strategic and tactical financial direction of the organization.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The CFO will play a pivotal role on the executive leadership team, overseeing all financial operations, driving scalable financial systems, and leading M&A activities. This visionary leader will provide strategic financial insights, ensure robust financial controls, and support the company's growth objectives through effective financial management and integration practices. They will foster a culture of accountability, efficient processes, and professionalism during the company's expansion and transformation, combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to achieve scaling objectives.


  • Oversight of all accounting operations and special projects that support the company's strategic goals and significant transactions, while leading and driving innovation within the Finance and Accounting departments.
  • Optimize and streamline the FP&A process, including budgeting, modeling, reporting, and system functionality, while identifying and integrating improvements.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of ERP system implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines, while also evaluating, enhancing, and streamlining financial systems to support scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct M&A due diligence and financial analysis to support acquisition decisions, and support the deal execution process from due diligence through to integration.
  • Implement KPI dashboards to facilitate revenue growth and improve margins by providing real-time insights and actionable data for informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Develop accurate financial and managerial information which will serve as the basis for sound business decisions.
  • Identify and leverage operational synergies to maximize efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
  • Streamline and unify the sales compensation structure to enhance clarity, fairness, and alignment with company objectives, fostering motivation and performance among the sales team.
  • Prepare board and lender reporting as required
  • Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and PE partners to support strategic objectives.
  • Oversee financial due diligence and prepare comprehensive financial data for PE exit process, translating complex financial concepts into clear insights for diverse audiences


REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree required within Finance, Accounting, Business Management or similar. (MBA or CPA a plus).
  • 15 + years of experience having progression in roles and seniority across all disciplines of the finance function with a track record of success.
  • Experience working in a similar organization (construction, building products or Founder owned) that is rapidly growing.
  • Experience working in or for a Private Equity firm preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in M&A and integration processes.
  • Experience developing a finance team, fostering productive team environments and building relationships and appropriately enhancing it to meet the needs of a growing business.
  • Action-oriented and innovative in leading. “Roll up your sleeves mentality.”
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
