As we enter into our 6th year in business, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Wholesale. You will join a small but nimble team, and a family-like work environment. Your Mission


The Director of Wholesale will play a pivotal role in spearheading the growth of the wholesale division of CHNGE. Building off our existing relationship and the wholesale growth we experienced in 2023, you will create a proactive strategy of expansion for the brand across a larger network of value aligned retailers. This role requires an individual with a proven track record in wholesale management, a deep understanding of the fashion industry, and an unwavering commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices. You will create and implement the CHNGE wholesale playbook to develop, scale, and optimize partnerships.


Wholesale Strategy, Planning, and Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive wholesale strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives and ensures the ambitious growth of the wholesale division.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify key opportunities and prospects for expansion in the wholesale market.
  • Be fully responsible for our wholesale business including P&L, margins, operations, partners’ satisfaction, and merchandising for an optimal consumer experience.
  • Oversee responsibility of effectively managing all wholesale accounts, maximizing growth, and exceeding targets. 


Relationship Management:

  • Continually strengthen and grow our existing commercial relationship. Oversee and develop a relationship with our clients’ cross-departmental teams, building on the momentum of interest that CHNGE is receiving from their fuller branded department .
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with all future wholesale partners, ensuring a positive and collaborative relationship.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with wholesale accounts to maximize profitability and maintain brand integrity.
  • Co-create and curate the CHNGE consumer experience in-stores and online with wholesale partners.


Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Align with business on annual sales targets and implement strategies to achieve and exceed them.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective management of wholesale accounts and continuous identification of new business opportunities.


Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with the design, production, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between wholesale and retail strategies.
  • Provide insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform product development and marketing initiatives.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Implement sales funnel tracking software, processes, and dashboards for clear and concise real-time reporting of sales funnel progression and orders. 
  • Track and analyze sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare monthly reports, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending adjustments to strategies as needed.




Your Skills


  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to run, understand, and analyze reports.
  • Experience using sales and wholesale distribution softwares. 
  • Advanced understanding of Merchandising, Finance, Logistics, and Retail Operations
  • Deep understanding of consumer thinking.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of Google Workspace package, particularly Google Sheets.



Your Story


  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a wholesale role within the fashion industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven success in creating and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of ethical and sustainable business practices within the fashion industry.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit who expects the unexpected and takes calculated risks to deliver results.
  • An out-of-the-box thinker and resourceful problem-solver when faced with challenges.
  • A passion for sustainable design + social justice.
  • Dedicated individual with a high work ethic, integrity, and reliability with a “hands on” attitude.
