My client located in Boston, MA, is seeking a Financial Administrative Assistant to join their team As a Financial Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the company while also managing accounts payable duties. In addition to typical administrative tasks such as reception coverage, meeting coordination, and office supply management, this position will involve significant involvement in financial activities, including reconciliation of daily cash and assistance with new hire orientation and onboarding.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the financial team, including reception coverage, meeting coordination, and office supply ordering.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
  • Perform reconciliation of daily cash transactions and prepare reports for management review.
  • Assist with financial reporting and data analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of financial transactions and administrative activities.
  • Other duties as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a financial or accounting environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation is a plus.
