Job Description:

We are excited to welcome a talented and experienced real estate attorney to our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in eviction practice, building court, and real estate law, with expertise in handling a wide range of residential and commercial real estate matters.


Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive legal counsel on various real estate issues, including purchases, sales, leases, and development projects

- Provide assistance on eviction filings and build court disputes

- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate agreements, such as purchase contracts, leases, and financing documents

- Conduct in-depth title examinations, identify potential issues, and resolve title defects

- Represent clients in real estate closings, ensuring all legal requirements are met and transactions are completed smoothly

- Handle complex real estate disputes, including landlord-tenant conflicts, boundary disputes, and zoning issues

- Stay current on relevant real estate laws, regulations, and market trends to provide informed and strategic advice to clients


Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admission to the state bar in Illinois

- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on evictions and transactional real estate

- Deep understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues

- Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail

- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and achieving favorable outcomes for clients
