  • Develop and execute a strategy for measuring business performance metrics for data quality (completeness and accuracy).
  • Ensure data management process is effective to drive architecture, instance, integration, MBE and security requirements.
  • Connect and improve data flow down from contract initiation to shop, product line, and key stakeholders across the enterprise.

  • Participate in development of master data management strategies, implementation roadmaps and business cases.
  • Help establish and define important critical data elements, metadata rules for use, format, and lineage.
  • Support building and governing master data guidelines, data standards, and data dictionaries.
  • Lead implementation, and ongoing management of attribute naming conventions, industry/trade standardization, and categorizations.
  • Develop, deploy, and monitor policies and processes established for managing master data within the Department and with Company’s source systems, automated and manual processes.
  • Promote Lean mindset as it pertains to the team’s operational effectiveness and opportunities to continuously improve the master process across the business.
  • Mentor, coach and develop contract master data stewards and operations team members on data management best practices and information quality standards.
  • Develop master data team member goals and measurement strategy that aligns team members' work to operational processes (SLA’s), data quality, and enterprise data management goals.
  • Drive business process change (simplification) by influencing cross functional departments.
  • Lead with a hands-on approach – drive accountability to continuously improve enterprise standards and grow the team's capability set from both depth and breadth perspective.
  • Facilitate engagement with departments and leaders to train and educate the use and adoption of data management.
  • Improve trust in contract critical data elements by defining and improving data quality.
  • Effectively communicate and manage escalations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure conformance to all applicable Company’s standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, effectively communicating project status, risks, and opportunities.
