Associate Litigation Attorney – Full Time

Our firm focuses on maximizing technology to assist our attorneys and clients to save time and provide the best representation possible. Technology utilized by the firm includes web based legal research tools (including Lexis AI), CRM and matter management, time tracking, client billing, discovery document management and production, litigation tools, and client portals. Our attorneys and staff maximize the technology with new, fast mobile hardware.


The candidate will meet with clients, perform legal research; create strategies; draft pleadings; motions; written discovery; conduct depositions; organize; and marshal the matter through trial. The applicant will also be called upon to draft business formation documents, estate documents, contracts, and other transaction matters.


The ideal applicant must have superior interpersonal skills, work well under pressure, be proactive, highly motivated, independent, dependable, and eager to learn. Communication and respect for other team members is imperative.


This position offers a unique opportunity for an attorney to learn and grow while beginning with an immediate client base and income source. There is also potential to utilize existing expertise in other practice areas to increase earning potential.


Compensation:

Negotiable based on experience, desired payment structure, and degree of flexibility. Compensation may also be based on a percentage of earnings. Additional forms of compensation are negotiable.

Responsibilities:

·        Manage litigation matters through trial.

·        Prepare estate planning, business formation documents, contracts, leases, and other documents.

·        Conduct in-person and remote consultations with potential and existing clients.

·        Research and analyze complex legal issues.

 

Qualifications:

·        3 years litigation experience.

·        Actively licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
