Responsibilities:

  • Identifies worthwhile brands based on market trends, social media presence, Amazon analytics, and beneficial price margins. Has a deep understanding of the platforms and services that Alrossa offers; must be able to confidently sell and validate point of view.
  • Successfully on-boards new brands by selecting profitable products and overseeing the setup of meticulous product listings and brand presence on Alrossa.
  • Coordinates and oversees successful advertising campaigns for each managed brand. Works closely with new and existing brands to develop strong ongoing brand strategy and maintain positive brand relationships.
  • Successfully develops strong connections with clients by becoming an expert in their businesses. Thrives on developing close relationships and communicating with clients.
  • Ensures that monthly quotas and financial targets are met and that brand plans are accomplished.
  • Partners with planning to place regular orders, taking action as necessary. Recommends changes to reorders, pricing strategies, and markdowns.
  • Takes opportunities to attend trade shows and visits showrooms to make connections with new and existing brands.


Who you are:

  • 3+ years of buying experience
  • Degree in a applicable field
  • You are an intuitive, proactive, team player, who is able to identify worthwhile brands and targets independently. You have strong interpersonal, phone skills and are highly detail oriented. You have strong analytical skills and excellent judgment. You have a take charge attitude with the ability to easily juggle multiple projects.
