Role Overview
  • Develop and implement strategies to build and sustain a world-class network of broadband technology experts, ensuring alignment with Cyrannus’ mission to accelerate the funding of innovative startups.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard top experts in broadband technology, ensuring a diverse and highly qualified network capable of evaluating cutting-edge innovations in broadband infrastructure, wireless technologies, and digital communications.
  • Design and implement initiatives that foster active participation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among broadband experts. 
  • Oversee the integration of broadband expert insights into Cyrannus’ evaluation process, ensuring accurate and timely assessments of startups’ investment readiness.
  • Quarterly business reviews with your Broadband Technology Expert Community. 
  • Collaborate with AI, product, and data teams to refine evaluation methodologies, particularly those applicable to digital technology-focused startups.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the broadband expert network, making data-driven adjustments as necessary. 
  • Represent Cyrannus at industry events, conferences, and in publications, positioning the company as a leader in AI & expert evaluation of broadband technology innovations.

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PhD) is preferred.


Experience: 

  • 10+ years of experience in broadband technology, telecommunications, or related sectors, with a proven track record of leading high-impact initiatives in innovation or investment.
  • 7+ years of experience in building and managing expert or professional teams, particularly within the broadband or telecommunications industries.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in broadband technology evaluation and investment.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of AI- driven tools for decision making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building relationships with top-tier professionals.
