Position Overview:
The Director of Clinical Services is a key role that involves assisting the Program Director in delivering comprehensive clinical and social services to residents. This includes assessing residents' mental and emotional health, providing necessary services, supervising staff, and offering counseling, advocacy, and support to domestic violence victims and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise case management and housing specialist staff.
- Lead staff development through individual and group supervision sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations.
- Manage client service hotlines and provide crisis support.
- Coordinate mental health care and external referrals.
- Deliver brief psychotherapy sessions for individuals and families.
- Build a network with community organizations for resource referrals.
- Ensure resident records adhere to compliance and best practices.
- Independently handle facility crises in the absence of the Program Director.
- Prepare necessary reports and contribute to program evaluations.
- Address client complaints and conduct thorough investigations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work or similar clinical field required; LMSW preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years working with domestic violence victims, addressing trauma, homelessness
- Supervisory Role: 3 years of supervisory experience beneficial but not mandatory
