Our client is a large Real Estate Investment and Management organization seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst, Property Tax Data & Reporting.


This is an in-office position in Downtown Denver. Local candidates are strongly preferred.


This individual will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and reporting of property taxes. The ideal candidate will have experience in an FP&A department, strong excel skills, and the ability to effectively engage with multiple departments, tax jurisdictions, and senior management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of property tax budgeting, forecasting, compliance, variance analysis, and reporting to upper management.
  • Establish and maintain the property tax database and associated reports.
  • Distribute reports and engage with senior management and various departments to address inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with the Property Tax Department team to formulate and supervise property tax budgets and strategic plans.
  • Monitor forecasts, actuals, and discrepancies from the budget and deliver reports on variations and projections.
  • Interact directly with multiple property tax jurisdictions to ensure compliance tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support the Appeal Group by providing necessary documentation and tools for property tax appeals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an FP&A department or similar role with heavy exposure to budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams is preferred.
