Illumination Rock Integrative Medicine is a small holistic healthcare clinic in SE Portland. We pride ourselves in building solid relationships within our community, while helping people find relief from pain, mental health challenges and other health ailments, through a patient-centered, science-based approach. We believe in the power of traditional healing modalities to help our patients find relief for mind, body and spirit.



Licensed acupuncturist with interest and experience treating pain, athletic and motor vehicle injuries, neurogenic pain conditions and mental health encouraged to apply. Must be interested in studying and implementing Tuina style used in clinic for continuity of care. Training provided, while credentialing in process. This is a part-time independent contractor position, with potential to become full-time with patient recruitment and retention. Must be available 2-3 days per week. A 2-week training program required.


Required:

- Team-focused individual, with great communication skills, integrity, compassion and adaptability.

- Licensed in the State of Oregon (or ability to become by start date)

- Love of East Asian Herbal Medicine, and interest in prescribing herbs

- Interest in combining hands-on techniques with Acupuncture

- Ability to develop rapport and trust with diverse patient population

- Experience treating mental health, traumatic injuries and pain conditions

- Able to use clinic's EHR and web-based scheduling system (Jane EHR)

- Motivated to study and utilize specific treatment styles and modalities used in clinic in an apprenticeship model.


Preferred:

- Experience with Tuina/ Shiatsu

- Weekend Availability

- Credentialed with most Health Insurance companies serving Portland Metro Area

- Experience treating neurological conditions and brain injuries

- Willingness to do help with administrative side-work at hourly rate a bonus.

- Experience treating women's health & digestive disorders`

Job Type: Part-time


Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour


Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
