Who We Are:
The Heartwood Clinic is a small, busy acupuncture clinic in Northwest Portland. Opened in 2015, the past nine years have seen steady growth and we are looking for a third provider to join our team. We work both independently and collaboratively, sharing clinic responsibilities and occasional case review. Our treatment approaches include gentle Japanese meridian therapy, non-insertive needling, direct moxibustion and bodywork. The clinic environment is a quiet, nurturing space where patients are warmly welcomed and their experience is central. Our patient population is diverse with the majority of our patients being somewhere along a journey of pregnancy. We also work often with elders seeking pain relief and those sensitive to needles.

Who We Need:
-Confident and competent provider who works well both independently and on a team
-Excellent patient rapport and retention
-Clear communication style both verbal and written
-Timely, responsible and communicative
-Provides patient centered care that supports all bodies and identities
-Experience treating pregnant patients desired
-Knowledge of herbal formulas and confident prescribing
-Availability to provide treatment for patients 2-3 afternoon/evenings (approximately 3-8pm) per week and 2-3 Saturdays per month.

Qualifications:
-Active Acupuncture License in the state of Oregon
-Bodywork skills highly desired
-ND, LAc/ LAc, LMT/ MAc all considered
-Must have own malpractice and premises liability insurance
-Ideally credentialed with major health insurance companies

Compensation:
-Competitive percentage split based on experience
-Marketing resources provided
-Website representation
