Position Overview: 

Truscott Rossman profoundly understands the role content plays in the evolution of the communications industry, and this role will be a cornerstone for the future of our business. The Content Director at Truscott Rossman will play a transformational role in defining, leading, and growing content as a service. This will include, but is not limited to, video/multimedia production, blog writing and distribution, and content strategy. This is not a public relations role. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the creation of a content department, ensuring high-quality content output that aligns with the agency’s standards and client expectations. 
  • Manage the production of multimedia deliverables, especially video. 
  • Communicate the value of content as a service to stakeholders and customers. 
  • Maintain a clear vision for the direction of this service while also understanding other areas of our business and implementing strategies for integration with those areas. 
  • Foster an environment of creativity and innovation, encouraging new ideas and approaches. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proven leadership experience. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of the current and future communications landscape. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of common content distribution channels. 
  • Demonstrated use of AI to increase creativity and efficiency of work product. 
  • Deep knowledge of video production process and best practices. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at managing both client and internal relationships. 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus and strategic direction. 

 

Reporting Structure:  

This role reports to the Vice President.
