We are seeking an experienced Acumatica Construction Consultant to join our team. As an Acumatica Consultant with a specialization in the construction industry, you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and supporting Acumatica's Construction Edition for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and functional expertise in Acumatica ERP and a deep understanding of construction industry workflows and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Implementation: Lead full-cycle Acumatica implementations for construction clients, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and deployment.
  • Customization & Optimization: Develop and implement custom workflows, reports, and dashboards to streamline construction processes like project management, job costing, compliance, and billing.
  • Training & Support: Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure clients' teams are proficient with Acumatica Construction Edition, ensuring seamless adoption of the ERP.
  • Data Migration: Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems into Acumatica, including projects, contracts, budgets, schedules, and other construction-related data.
  • Client Consulting: Advise clients on best practices for utilizing Acumatica's construction modules (e.g., project management, service management, compliance tracking, financials) to improve their operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide technical and functional support, resolving client issues related to Acumatica ERP construction workflows, integrations, and customizations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with client stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Acumatica Expertise: Minimum 2+ years of experience working with Acumatica ERP, with specific experience in the Construction Edition.
  • Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction industry processes including job costing, contract management, scheduling, change orders, compliance, and project financials.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Acumatica's configuration, customization, and report-writing tools; experience with SQL and other reporting tools is a plus.
  • ERP Implementation Experience: Proven track record of leading ERP implementations, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and optimizing systems.
  • Client-Focused: A passion for helping clients improve their processes and succeed with their ERP solution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other ERPs or construction management software like Procore, Sage 300, or Viewpoint.
  • Acumatica certification in the Construction Edition or other relevant modules.
  • Experience with integration tools and third-party software that enhance Acumatica for construction clients.
