Fire Alarm Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems and implement necessary repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients about system operations and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in fire alarm technology preferred.
  • Experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or in a related field is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations.
  • NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
