Role Description

This office is seeking an individual who will assist an immigration attorney representing individuals before the immigration court. Any past litigation experience and/or removal defense experience will be key. This is a litigation paralegal position, so attention to detail and ability to manage priorities under a strict deadline is essential. The majority of our clients speak Spanish, French, or Wolof, so if you speak another language fluently, please let us know. Our ideal candidate will be cool under pressure, will be self-motivated or directed, will be organized, and thorough.


This is a full-time on-site role for a Paralegal at the Law Office of Kristen M. Barrow, PLLC located in Louisville, KY. The Paralegal will be responsible for performing tasks such as legal document preparation, communication with clients and stakeholders, conducting legal research, and document review.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of law and legal procedures
  • Experience in legal document preparation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to review and analyze legal documents
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Relevant paralegal certification or degree, if applicable
