Job Summary: As a Real Estate Paralegal, you will support attorneys and clients in all aspects of real estate transactions and legal matters. You will play a crucial role in managing files, conducting research, and ensuring that all legal documents and procedures are handled efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review real estate documents including purchase agreements, leases, and closing documents.
  • Conduct title searches and analyze title reports.
  • Coordinate and manage closings, including preparing settlement statements and facilitating communication between parties.
  • Assist in the drafting and filing of legal documents with government agencies.
  • Conduct due diligence and gather information relevant to real estate transactions.
  • Manage and organize client files and case documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals to facilitate transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to real estate.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Paralegal certification preferred (e.g., NALA, NFPA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, property law, and legal procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
